Volume-builder kitchens are built to a price: laminate everywhere, shallow drawers, no pantry to speak of. In a renovation we change the things that actually bother you day to day — a real island with stone, a proper butler's pantry, full-height cabinetry that uses the ceiling height your double-storey home already has.
